BookBuddy is a mobile app made for book lovers everywhere. It aims to build continuous motivation by allowing the user to set weekly, monthly and yearly goals. With every goal achieved the user receives another piece to go on there yearly bookmark. Other features include a reading timer that turns off access to distractions, a book selector to help with decision freezing and a social blog to see what others are reading.

My UX research showed that many of the book apps that exist are very clinical visually and this turned many users away. I chose the colour palette to be engaging but not overwhelming. The added illustrations also made the app more engaging with users.
